Appointment reminders and confirmations
To help us manage appointment availability, we may contact you by SMS, email and/or phone prior to your appointment.
You may be required to confirm your attendance before your appointment proceeds via SMS or phone call.
It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are current and to respond to appointment confirmation requests.
Running late
If you are running late for your appointment, please contact our rooms as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate you, a shortened consultation or rescheduled appointment may be necessary if you arrive significantly late.
Cancellations and missed appointments
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact our team and provide as much notice as possible.
Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. Current cancellation fees are available on our fees page.
Patients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments, repeatedly cancel at short notice, or fail to respond to appointment confirmation requests may be required to prepay for future appointments.
This policy helps us manage appointment availability and minimise delays for other patients.
Our fees and billing policy has more information.
Illness and infection control
If you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, please contact us before attending your appointment. Where appropriate, alternative appointment options, including telehealth, may be available.
